Brothers Osborne Say They're 'Not For Everyone'

Cancel culture doesn't scare Brothers Osborne. They have accepted the fact that they aren't for everyone.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the "I'm Not For Everyone" singers shared how they realized early on in their career that everyone would not accept them.

"We speak our mind, for better or worse, and people have threatened to "Dixie Chic" us, and whatever. Boycott us. I mean, that was long before "cancel culture," people have been trying to cancel us for 5 or 6 years now," laughs John Osborne of the duo. "But, whatever, I don't care. At some point, in order to really be yourself, you have accept that you aren't going to please everybody."

John's idea hit home with not only John and TJ Osborne but also with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby as they decided to write the celebration of individuality anthem, "I'm Not For Everyone."

"We just hung out, and we wrote the song super-fast," reveals John. "It's funny. We never considered the song being a single, and now it's our second single off the record."

"If you've not been canceled at least once, you aren't doing it right," teases John.
