Bobby Makes First Mentoring Appearance On American Idol

Bobby Bones was welcomed back on American Idol for the latest season on ABC as the full time mentor for all of the contestants. This came after his first appearance on American Idol as a mentor to the Top 24 contestants in the previous season.

Last night (March 24) we got our first look as Bones as a full time mentor. He was sporadically shown during the two-hour long episode for the show's 'Hollywood Week' where over 100 contestants were brought to Hollywood to audition for a second time then compete with a group for a third audition. Bones was seen giving advice to Margie about her wild personality and talking through Logan John's sobriety in the second round of individual auditions. Then we saw another side to Bones as he tracks down contestant Juan Pablo during group rehearsals and consoles another group after one of their group mates gets ill. We also see Bones interacting with the judges on a few occasions, at one point giving them some behind the scenes information about how the rehearsals are going.

Check out some of the photos and videos below to see how the first mentoring sessions went with Bones!
