Thomas Rhett will join forces with Katy Perry for a live performance of their collaboration, “Where We Started.” It’ll happen during the American Idol finale on Sunday evening (May 22). Rhett wrote in a tweet on Wednesday afternoon (May 18): “So pumped for this. Y'all make plans to tune-in to [American Idol] this Sunday - performing ‘Where We Started’ with [Katy Perry]! #IdolFinale

The song is the title track of Rhett’s latest album, which debuted on April 1. It’s the first of two albums he plans to release this year, with Country Again: Side B following this fall. Other fan-favorite tracks on the project include “Church Boots,” “Angels,” “Bring The Bar,” “Slow Down Summer” and more. Rhett also included a collaboration with Riley Green (“Half Of Me”) and Tyler Hubbard and Russell Dickerson (“Death Row”).

Fittingly, Rhett recently retweeted a message he shared on May 25, 2013: “Y’all have some pretty funny guilty pleasures. Mine’s [Katy Perry] hands down.” On April 4, Rhett couldn’t help but notice, “this tweet aged well.” Now, he and Perry have teamed up for a duet:

“Windows down and screaming, I will wait for us/ Everybody, just wait for us/ Yeah, we're coming, just wait for us
“Those days when you're brokenhearted/ And you're getting knocked down and you're saying/ Don't know how far we're gonna go, just/ Look at that road and think about where we started”
