Chris Young Participates In New '100 Percent Tip Challenge'

Chris Young's generous heart is showing this holiday season. The country star took to social media on Thursday night (December 26) to share the story of how he recently tipped a server 100 percent of his total.

The photo shared of the receipt doesn't show where he ordered or what he ordered but it does reveal his total for the bill of $187 which was also replicated in the tip for a grand total of $374.

Young was nominated to participate in a challenge dubbed the #100percenttipchallenge by his friends, director Jeff Johnson and country singer Tyler Reeve. The "Drowning" singer is now challenging Chase Rice, Brad Paisley and Lauren Alaina to participate in the challenge as well.

"Sorry to @jeffjohnsonimages @tylerreeve for not posting earlier (I’ve been hanging with family), but I love this idea of supporting the service industry!!!! #100percenttipchallenge," he writes in the caption. "I challenge @chaserice and @bradpaisley to get out there and make someone’s day... and @laurenalaina too since I just talked to her!!!

If the trend continues on, many deserving servers out there will be receiving loaded tips. Stay tuned to see if Rice, Paisley and Alaina follow through with the challenge from Young.

As Young mentioned in his caption, he's been spending some time with family for the holidays. The country singer recently revealed a favorite Christmas memory he has and still loved to this day is decorating the tree with his family.

“Probably the first time I can remember as a kid decorating the tree with my family – my mom, my dad and little sister,” he shared in an interview. “Just something incredibly special about that. It’s something we still do to this day together.”

As for his favorite Christmas song, Young says the classic "The Christmas Song" is number one for him. He adds, "It's just one of my favorite things to sing along to."
