Jon Pardi And Fiancée Summer Will Tie The Knot In May In Montana

Jon Pardi proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Summer Duncan, back in October during his sold-out show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

The happy couple recently revealed to People they plan to have a Big Sky Country themed destination wedding in Montana.

"I love Montana," Pardi says. "I've been going there for about 10 years. My friends have a ranch out there."

He went on to share that their engagement wont' be too long. They plan to tie the knot officially in May, a time he chose for practical reasons.

"Guess what, a non-sweaty wedding," he says laughing, "It's gonna be highs in the 60s. I don't like sweating."

Duncan has yet to visit Montana, however Pardi says she'll make a trip prior to the big day. The two have already picked out a venue overlooking Yellowstone National Park, where they anticipate nearly 200 guests in attendance.

"We'll see who comes," he says, "It's more of an adventure wedding really."

With a little help from Pardi's team, Duncan continues to piece together details for the wedding. "Most of my managers are female, so they were all excited to be a part of it." Pardi says.

Pardi released his highly anticipated third studio album, Heartache Medication, on September 27. He just wrapped up his tour in support of the new record where he was joined by special guest Riley Green.

It's only been just a few months since Heartache Medication's release, but Pardi is ready to start working on new music. Looking ahead, the country singer says he plans to take a break from the road so he can start working on his next album.

"I'm kind of take a break from touring with other artists," he says. "I'm just goin to do the fairs and festivals or whatever comes my way. When you're not on tour with somebody, you have a little bit more leeway to be like, yeah, we can go do that."
