During an awards show that featured performances from Shawn Mendes, BTS, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato and more, a slew of country talent shared the spotlight and took home big wins.

Maren Morris, who performed “The Middle” alongside Zedd and Grey for the first time on live television, won Top Country Female Artist, while Sam Hunt snagged Top Country Song for “Body Like a Back Road.”
Other winners from the country categories included Luke Bryan (Top Country Tour) and Florida Georgia Line (Top Country Duo/Group Artist), both of whom were not in attendance.
