After receiving an overwhelming number of inquiries from citizens and companies who want to help, Mayor Sylvester Turner has established the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund that will accept tax-deductible flood relief donations for victims affected by the recent floods.

The fund will be housed at the Greater Houston Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity.

The HSUS Animal Rescue Team is on the ground in Texas, helping animals impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

The team deployed to Texas before Harvey hit to make room in local shelters and move animals out of harm’s way. Now, we are working with local officials on animal rescue and transport. At this moment, we are on the ground rescuing animals in Dickinson and League City, and we are moving animals out of San Antonio.

MOHAWK BENEFIT CONCERT - Houston Strong Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Austin musicians  will come together to help raise money for those in need in Houston. Black Joe Lewis, The Octopus Project, Robert Ellis and more will headline a star studded night for Hurricane Harvey Relief on Friday, September 1st. 

Tito's Handmade Vodka will also have a truck onsite that anyone can help fill with donated goods. Their biggest needs include diapers, baby formula, blankets and toiletries.

BarkHappy, is teaming up with Amy’s Ice Cream again to raise money for Austin Pets  Alive. They have already rescued over 300 animals from the devastating  hurricane effects and will need more support over the coming weeks and  months. 100% of the profits for this event will go to APA and will be  used so support their Hurricane Harvey evacuation efforts! This fundraiser will also give you and your pups an awesome day of fun.

In an effort to provide  relief to the affected communities, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has activated  several opportunities for others to give back.

Celebration Church is partnering with the Association of Related Churches(ARC)to bring disaster relief for those who have been affected by Hurricane and Tropical Storm Harvey. 

Celebration Church is an independent Central Texasdrop-off location for basic items. A complete list of needed and accepted items can be found at www.celebration.church. Donations can be made 7 days a week from 9 a.m. –8p.m. in the South Auditorium of the Annex building.
