For April we will shine the spotlight bright on Carrying Hope.
Carrying Hope creates and distributes Hope Packs filled with essentials and comfort items to children who are entering the foster care system in Central Texas.
The 501c3 nonprofit was created by foster parents who watched as children arrived to their houses with nothing at all.
In 2016 we provided more than 300 Hope Packs to children who needed them and coordinated three holiday projects that impacted 200 more. Our goal for 2017 is collect 1,000 Hope Packs, which will allow us to provide one to every child who enters foster care in Central Texas.
